500 SKIRTS:
The 500 Series was added after the 200 Series. It is the second skirt added to the system, the first flat panel. The Vs front and back are a bit more shallow then the 200 Series. This Series introduced the Tulip skirt, and in the 500 Mini-Pro only, there is the Tulip/Side Kick Pleat option. All 500 patterns come with the 500 Tulip and the Single Circle (C-1, 500 Series) skirt as well. The Tulip Skirt can be hemmed to any depth along the side seam line for extra flirt or flare. The fullness at the hemline is less then a full circle. This skirt is very tailored and can be lengthened easily. Also, the side line can be pulled down to a level point with the mid point to give a more A-line look to the finished skirt.
Packaged with the any 500 Series pattern is the Single Circle (C-1). The M18 contains the Triple Circle (C-3:500 Series), the M18B the Double Circle (C-3:500 Series). Each of these Add-on Skirts fit easily into the 500 bodice inset line. Also, see other special design 500 bodices in the 800 Series.
