THE SYSTEM: Mini-Pro Pattern

We started with a good fitting leotard, mastered from a rough pattern, and then devised the inset lines on the bodice. Each inset line works the best with the skirt selected for that line...The System. The first patterns are found in the MULTI-Series: they have the same bodice design but different skirts for each series.

No more guessing about size. No more inconsistencies from pattern to pattern. No confusing multiple size lines that just get in the way. Start with a Fitted Bodice pattern in the closest height and weight group, apply your measurements, make your corrections. and your ready to cut.

Our sleeves are interchangeable within the size grouping for the inset sleeve and the raglan sleeve groups. Any sleeve within a size group will fit the sleeve of another same sized bodice. The raglen sleeve is interchangable within the same size raglan group.

If you have a design idea learn how to make it happen. Go from your MASTER, the Fitted Bodice/MiniPro pattern, to your CUSTOM DESIGN.Learn simple alterations: the Basics of beading: be introduced to color design: how to sew for Men/Boys: try the Unitard pattern. The new DressTard pattern allows you to use your existing bodice patterns. There is an inset forthe 200, 400, 500, and 1000 bodices. The new dresstard comes in the 900Series as well.

Remember, you will apply measurements to the SSW pattern and master the form to fit your skater, dancer, gymnast, twirler, swimmer or for any other activewear. It is easy to create other designs after you have mastered your pattern. Learn to use reference points from the body to the pattern. You will make the form fit. You can use the same changes on any pattern within the size grouping to get a great fit without starting over. Your last pattern is your MASTER pattern, your starting point.
